ROCK SPOT CLIMBING is currently looking to hire a PROGRAM MANAGER for our location in Boston-Dedham, MA!

Job Description
The program manager at Rock Spot Climbing will oversee all group bookings, staff, and event operations, as well as oversee the operations for the entire facility while working as the shift supervisor.  All activities shall be conducted under the direction of the regional operations manager.

Responsibilities will include:
Oversee all group/event bookings and ensure adherence to all booking and event policies
Communicate with group/event organizers to ensure a positive experience
Train floor staff and supervisors on how to effectively run a group
Follow up on past groups, seek out new group business
Promote and coordinate all Youth Program classes and events
Supervise and organize all Youth Program staff
Implement and monitor lesson plans and curriculum
Create and monitor schedules for YP classes and floor staff
Coordinate gym program schedule and enrollment, including recurring classes or events
Identify areas for growth or improvement within program schedule
Organize and promote educational programs for youth and adults
Process daily paperwork
Provide input for agenda of manager meetings
Be able to perform all shift supervisor, youth program and floor staff functions
Other management duties as assigned

Previous management experience with employees
Ability to supervise

Ability to enforce rules and regulations
Ability to handle money
Customer service and sales experience
Punctual and reliable

Detail oriented
Outgoing, friendly personality
Previous experience with children’s birthday parties
Experience working with youth of all ages
Previous indoor rock climbing and belaying experience
